Captured

Skinner recently had some lovely silhouettes at an Americana Sale. We're always curious how something so simple can be so intimate, even a hundred or so years later. Deborah Barrett's artwork has always felt the same to us...somehow a historical document and an intimate portrait at once. See for yourself:
