Great finds in Maine

The deals are hot when there is 14" of snow on the ground in Maine. We love scouring the antique stores and, though you'd think that primitives and painted country would be the only offerings, modernism is alive and well. A few recent finds:

A surprise find was this lovely 13" tabletop sculpture, signed F. Russo.

Mexican silver and stone pitcher and tumblers- gorgeous materials, color and design.

Early bookends....lovely, fluid abstractions with a Moore/Weinberg feel.

And yes, a 12" vintage Cornell horsehair paintbrush with the patina of years of hard work- beautiful!
